Great pictures!
a couple of questions
Why would you paint the topsides (they look great in the photos) a Note on LPU, it is great above water = great sun resistance but on the sides of the boat not so good on long trips as LPU is water permiable (paint blisters above the waterline from; days on a single tack where the area is below the waters surface)

Are you sure on the winter over in Eureka = cold and wet?
Some fun thoughts; if you sail down to SanFrancisco and the delta, it is great in late August and September even first part of Oct. Out in the Delta or in Napa there are some good deals on haul and work. The trip down from SF to SanDeigo is a 3 to 4 day trip but stoping along the way is not so bad as there is alot to see and enjoy. This trip is not to bad the in October and there are alot of open berths in Nov. as the Ba ha ha departs the first part of Novmber about 150 + Boats headed south. So spots are easy to find after they leave. And the winter is not so bad in SanDiego at least compaired to Eureka.

Just some thoughts.
