Transporting Our Westsail

John and Terrye Doyle

We are planning on moving our Westsail 32 from CA to KY and need to know the height of the boat, from bottom of keel to top of cabin. Can you assist? Thanks in advance

John, A W32 is 12'-3" from keel to top of pulpit. If they load the boat slightly down by the bow, they can get it under 12'. The boom gallows may need to be removed.

Whereabouts in Ky?

JR Reed

I moved my W32 from FT. Pierce FL to Chicago IL. I had to remove the bow pulpit. Total height could not exceed 13 feet 10 inches.

Danny Rummans

I moved FLAPS UP from CT to SC and the question was never asked. I used Youle yacht transport.

FLASH... Large inventory of used sailboat equipment, parts & supplies at great prices. After a 10-year circumnavigation in a Westsail 43, the owners are now clearing out all the excess and getting back to life ashore. Outfit your boat with well-kept equipment and save yourself a bunch of cash in the process!
