Bowsprit SS Crance Iron

Brad Rykert

Bud, After having purchased a SS bowsprit from you, a few years, I still have the original bowsprit SS crance iron. Is there a market for it and what might the value be? Thanks, Brad

Bud Taplin

Brad, I seldom get a call for one, but that is not to say I might need one to replace a bowsprit that was lost due to breakage. I would be glad to hold it in my inventory of spare parts, and if needed, would buy it from you.

Brad Rykert

Bud, Thanks for the reply. So what is its true value now? It came from Westsail in 1977. Makes a great paperweight. Or should I just hold it? Thanks again, Brad
