Coming and Going?

If by sea:
San Leandro Channel: The approach is pretty straightforward but remember: YOU MUST STAY INSIDE THE CHANNEL MARKERS. Unless you want to hang out in the mud until the next tidal change. The marina entrance is at 37 40.30 Lat, 122 13.29 Long. After entering the marina area, turn left into the marina itself. We will monitor channels 9 and 16.

If by land:
Exit the 880 Freeway at Marina Blvd. Exit west. Continue on Marina Blvd. And then bear left on Neptune Dr. Turn right on N. Dike Rd. for San Leandro Yacht Club or turn on S. Dike Rd. to find all the boats. There are gates at the dock so call Terry (cell: 510-637-9180) or wave us down and someone will let you in. For out-of-towners, the Oakland Airport is very close. The San Leandro Marina Inn is directly on the water next to everything. They can be reached at 800-786-7783

Hi:
For the SF bay sailors who couldn't make the event -- can we have a report?

Ahoy!

"Sunquest" is now located in Brisbane, California. David King Captained my boat with myself as crew last September from Portland, Oregon to San Francisco. We hit wind gusts to 50 knots off of Point Arena with breaking seas the last 24 hours of our trip. I'd like to share the story at the Northern California Rendesvous....is there going to be one this year?

Syoder

Hey, Joshua...

How about writing the story up and submitting it to Windblown so we can all enjoy it.

FLASH... Large inventory of used sailboat equipment, parts & supplies at great prices. After a 10-year circumnavigation in a Westsail 43, the owners are now clearing out all the excess and getting back to life ashore. Outfit your boat with well-kept equipment and save yourself a bunch of cash in the process!
