WESTSAIL 22 Double Ender 1974?

BeckyBaxter (Guest)

I have a westsail 22 that supposedly was one of only 2 or 3 built specifically to cross the Atlantic (which it did several times) It was my crusty father's boat (Captain Ken Sten) I want to sell it but would like to know more about it. My dad's disappearo on the high seas so I can't pick his brain. It needs a little work but is a rugged little thing with what I call a match stick mast. It's perhaps more of a motor sailer. Does anyone know anything about these boats??? Thanks, Becky P.S this boat was once owned by Buster Keaton or his son.

Bud Taplin

Westsail never built a 22' sailboat. There was a boatbuilding company that did build a boat called a Westerly, and they may have made a 22' boat. I really do not know how to contact them.
