Building A Trailer For A 32

Rich Morpurgo

I am toying with the idea of building a trailer for our 32.

storage in florida during storm season would probably pay for it in two years by letting me store it in a cheap location.

Have you any suggestions from experience. I am sure there are several people who have done this before.

I have seen at least one trailer that was modified to handle a Westsail 32. Problem is you need a powerful truck to haul it, and a place to store the truck and trailer. Better idea would be to haul and store the boat at one of the marinas on Lake Okachobbee, near Moorehaven.

yea, but they have been going up too. The pressure of all the yards closing on the coast.

We had the boat hauled from indiana with a dually diesel dodge and a trailer and it did fine. I wouldn't be going nearly that far. I figure an old chevy dually with a big block would do it. (not many hills in florida)

Probably a waste of time......Thanks for the info.

Hope you are well....Rich
