Replacement Groco Seacocks On W42

nick cherney (Guest)

Bud,
I need to replace a thru hull and seacock (original) on our W42. I am going to be doing it on a tidal grid in SF bay, which will give me about 5 hours to work meaning I need to get the exact same thru hull/ seacock as I wont have time to fill old holes or mess around much. I am wondering if you supply replacement seacocks that take the same bolts (IE only two rather than three) or at least have the part numbers or specs. I guess the thru hull is pretty standard but all the new seacocks I have seen take three bolts. also what kind of bolts were used (counter sunk/pan/machine heads) and am I likely to encounter any other suprises? Thanks bud

those bolts are 3/8" machine screw (counter sunk) flat head slotted silicon bronze. Jamestown Distributors sells them. I just ordered enough to do all of my seacocks. I think they are 1 3/4" long. You might try posting to the wanted section to see if any of the members have one of those seacocks for sale.
