What

Staysail Track???

Jeffrey A. Mack (Guest)

Hey Bud,
We've got an older W32 #81 the Oo La La. How can we get the ends off the staysail track? There's the stub of a SS pin going in at the top of the "acorn" at the end. Thanks

Jeffrey,

You need to pull that pin out of the end piece, as it goes into a hole in the track. You may have to cut away some of the rubber end piece, and grab the pin with a small vise grips. Unfortunately, that track is no longer made, and I doubt if you can find any replacement rubber end pieces. You can always carve a new one from teak or plastic.

I believe this company has the rubber ends. http://www.hollandmarine.com/Main.html

Need to download their pdf catalog and call or mail them. Long download
