How many bulk heads are supposed to be in a W32? and are they all structural? Mine has an unusal configuration with a bulkhead just forward of where the cabin top stops (this I think is due to previous configurations of the boat) and part way into the v berth. It's annoying as it protrudes into the bed partially and I would like to remove it. Any advice would be appreciated.

There are normally only three structural bulkheads on a Westsail 32 hull. One in the forward cabin, (between the head and the forward cabin), one at the mast post, and a third at the aft end of the salon, ahead of the engine compartment.

thanks Bud.
