Turnbuckle Covers

Jean Bourgeois

What are you using and are you please with it.
There is the plastic tube and the leather covers that I know of. Since I don't have any covers, I would like to seek the opinion of a few of you before I purchase anything in particular.
thanks for sharing your thoughts on the subject

Bud Taplin

Covering your turnbuckles can be present a problem. You need to check them frequently for possible starting of crevice corrosion on the stainless steel parts.

I use 1.5' sections of 1.5" PVC pipe. It works great and can easily be lifted up to inspect or service the turnbuckle.

Thanks Bud, thanks Aaron
