Combi Transducer Compatability

Stan Huhndorf

Hi Bud,

My name is Stan Huhndorf, I am the new owner of the Westsail 43 "Leviathan" and I am going to put a new depth/plotter on her. Currently she has an old combi. I will later install a new transducer, but for now I'm wondering if old combi may be compatible with a standard 50\200khz?

I don't know who makes Combi?

Hope you may know! Thanks Stan

Bud Taplin

Stan, The Combi units are now made by Simrad Electronics. They are on the web, so contact them about compatability.

I do not have your contact information, and would appreciate you sending me an email with it. I try to keep track of all of the Westsail boats.

FLASH... Large inventory of used sailboat equipment, parts & supplies at great prices. After a 10-year circumnavigation in a Westsail 43, the owners are now clearing out all the excess and getting back to life ashore. Outfit your boat with well-kept equipment and save yourself a bunch of cash in the process!
