Mast Height

Jerry Turberville

I don't seem to be able to find the mast height for the Westsail 32. Where should I look to find it?
Thanks

Brian Smith

I think Orion's is 44'...

On a W28 it's 40' from the top of the mast to the waterline and 35' to the tabernacle so 44' for a W32 sounds about right.

The standard Westsail 32 has a 43' mast, measured from the cabintop. Allow about 5' from the cabintop to the waterline, and you have a 48' overall height, not counting antennas, for bridge clearance,

Bud,

What is the bridge clearance for the various configurations of the W42/43? Just in case I ever wanted to upgrade from my 32.

The masts for the Westsail 42 and 43 were 50' or 55', depending on what was ordered. Probably add about 5' from cabintop to waterline, plus some for antenna or wind instruments on the top of the mast.

Thanks for all the replies!
