Original Westsail 32 Color Schemes

Tom and Barb Koehl

Bud, Just out of curiosity, what were the original color options for the W32 gunwhale stripe? I've seen blue (both dark navy and royal), yellow (or is it buff?), shamrock green and white. Were there others? I was thinking of going with a dark red as a tip of the hat to Colin Archer and wondered if it was ever used?

There was no standard original sheer stripe color. A buyer had his choice if he did not want white, which was standard. I have seen some in red, and it looks nice. They did the boot stripe to match the sheer stripe.
