Removing Muffler Hose

Don Montgomery and Lana Nelson

Hi Bud,
Any tricks in your bag to get the hose to come off of the muffler? It seems to be fused. It is in the way for the fuel tank to go in through the slot. Thanks for your help.

Bud Taplin

Heat has caused the rubber hose to fuse onto the muffler. Try using a large pipe wrench and rotate the hose slightly to break the bond.
