Swim Ladder For W32

Tom and Dana Stiffler

Bud, my W32 Devon's Whisper has a stainless folding ladder that affixes to two hull mounted 1/2 " ss posts that protrude about 6" out just below the starboard toe rail aft of the life line gate. These posts are now missing, having apparently been knocked off their ss mounting plates on the hull. Do you have any idea where I might find another set of mounts? Alternatively what boarding/swim ladders do you know of that I might replace mine with? Thanks, Tom

Bud Taplin

Tom, I do not recall seeing that design, however I will check through my old catalogs to see if I can find a ladder that mounts that way. I would think though, that that type of mounting system would be very vunerable to breaking off if they are on the hullside. Maybe on the transom of a boat that has a transom, but not on a double ender.
