Lazarette Vents

Beauregard André (Guest)

I have 2 vents, one on each side of my lazarette. They are screewable and have about 5 inches of diameter. Here in Canada I cannot find those, I wish to have some info's about that. Looking for about 2 years with no results. Give me some clues

Bud Taplin

Are the vents plastic, sheet brass or stainless, or cast bronze? There were a few different manufacturers of vents used on the boats. They may have been from ABI, which have ones with a screw-in base.

They are soft plastic and the screw is aluminium.
Since I'm french speaking, what do you mean by ABI

Mike McCoy

'ABI' refers to ABI Marine, a manufacturer of marine hardware. Here is a link to their ventilation products:

Not sure if ABI makes plastic vents but I think Vetus does. Since Vetus is a NL based company if you're hailing from Europe those might be the ones you have.
