42 43 Reefing Blocks

Dave Kall

Anyone have a drawing of where the reefing blocks go for slab reefing on a 42 / 43 Cutter Main boom? I have the manual and a bunch of blue prints but can't find any dimensions.

Greatly appreciated any help. Only want to drill the boom once for each block.

the position is best determined by checking the fit of your sail. if you get them off a drawing they may be wrong. The reason is that your sail maker may not have installed the reef points to plan, so that if they are lower, the blocks will be further aft, higher, further forward.
many riggers will consult for free on this, call your local...
