First I want to thank you again for coming up to Alameda to survey Asylum for me. My question is about mounting the Aires self steering windvane. It seems to all be there except for the parts to mount it to the boomkin do you sell a kit for this? Also is there a detailed procedure for installing the Aires?
Thanks Again, David Beardsley, Owner S/V Asylum.

There is a page in the Westsail 32 factory construction manual describing the method of attaching the Aires windvane to the underside of a wooden boomkin. I have the manual on CD, so I can email the page directly to you.

I was curious about this too, Bud- That's an earlier version of the Aries; no changes, the specs still apply?

The later version of the Aires has a tilt-up mechanism, so the installation may be different in the lengths of the mounting tubes extending aft.
