Spreader Length Tip To Tip And Sweep

Gary and Charlotte Burton

Bud, any idea on tip to tip length for the spreaders on a W32? Isomat also need to know the sweep.
Thanks for any help,

Bud Taplin

Each manufacturer designs the length of the spreader based on the height above deck, beam of the boat, and the strength of their mast section. Let Isomat tell you how long their spreader should be. That is part of what they are getting paid for.

I have never seen any sweep on the other mast builders products on a Westsail 32.

Gary and Charlotte Burton

Thanks Bud

After a 10-year circumnavigation in a Westsail 43, the owners are now clearing out all the excess and getting back to life ashore. Outfit your boat with well-kept equipment and save yourself a bunch of cash in the process!
