I.d. And Significance Of Sail Away Kit Plan

Bud,
Could you tell me what the sail away plan was and how one may be able to determine whether a particular hull was finished out to that extent from the factory, please? What I wonder, is-- isn't that almost as good as a factory finished hull-- assuming a handyman owner to get it right on the interior? Thanks in advance.

Bud,
Thanks for the help today. No need to respond again here, as far as I'm concerned. Just for the benefit of the group I understand more now, that the kit boats were pretty much all given structural bulkheads by the factory, and I guess that's the matter of importance to me. Thanks again.
Randy
