Jen,

The phone number on Bud's site is incorrect; Use 239-265-3874

Supposedly the boat is in real good shape - I spoke with Rita about it. The pictures are indeed what boat looks like. It needs a boomkin (rotted), and the bottom of the hanging locker fixed. Also, the mainsail is shot. It has had a bunch of elbow grease applied lately as it sat out of the water for 9 years, and has been sitting in for three. She's REALLY surprised no one has shown up with money in hand.

We're just an hour north of Fort Misery. I've been toying with the idea of buying the boat, fixing it's few minor issues, and reselling for a bit of profit. But who knows how long it would take. Plus, it looks to be in better shape than my boat and I might be too tempted to sell mine and wind up a bit MORE in the hole!

Fair leads,
Aaron N.

FLASH... Large inventory of used sailboat equipment, parts & supplies at great prices. After a 10-year circumnavigation in a Westsail 43, the owners are now clearing out all the excess and getting back to life ashore. Outfit your boat with well-kept equipment and save yourself a bunch of cash in the process!
