Don and Margaret Lacoste

Hello All,

I just received a box of new bronze/copper port screens for my W-32. They were hand made by The Screens of Schooner Bay by the owner John Danicic. John lives on Lake Superior and began making custom screens for Cape Dory's since he owns a CD 36.

I found his website on the net and he has worked hard to make screens fit perfectly in my oval ports. My ports were on the later W32s and came from Pacific Seacraft. John took the time to make the screens and send a couple to fit and then finished the order for me. I expect that they will last the life of the boat.

He also has made screens for other Westsail with the round ports. You can see his work on his website: www.johndanicic.com

If you are looking for quality screens that look like they came with your bronze ports, check these out!
