Hello - can anyone help? I'm assembling a neglected W32 (? age) which had all its fittings removed for storage for many years, so have had to work out how it's all put together from scratch. Being in England, there are no other W32s about to check!. We've managed to work out the standing rigging, but are having difficulty working out the leads for the two foresail sheets. there are no screw-holes on the deck to indicate previous fittings, and no travellers to adjust sheeting angle. there is one winch either side of the companionway, with two cleats behind each, presumably for the sheets. Are the sheets led from blocks attached loosely to the wooden bulwarks? Do they run outside the shrouds?
We also cannot find a mainsheet traveller - is it normal on a W32 to have an immobile attachment for the mainsheet? Anyone got any photos which might be useful? Many thanks
