Obtain the smaller diameter vertical propane tank (about 6" to 7" in diameter) and then get a piece of PVC sewer pipe that the tank will fit into. Get end caps for the pipe. Figure where you want the tank to be under the deck, and cut a hole in the deck to fit the tube, and fasten in place. Obtain a flush plastic deckplate to seal the hole in the deck. Be sure to add an overboard drain to the bottom of the tube.
Alternatively, you could fasten this tube to the port boom gallows leg instead, then a tube drain hole in the bottom endcap would be overboard.
