Yeah, we had talked about this face to face and I do see it in the WSM: I do see that in your manual although mine is on page D-2, what I'm interested in is, is it butt jointed and sealed with a mish mass or is there an interior scarf joint?

When I cleaned away all the old lifting gel, there were some 1/4" voids running a foot or more along that joint. I'll fill and epoxy glass over them and fair them.

So I'm wondering how each piece was mad to fit together.
