5/16 HT (akaG40) has a working load of 3900 lbs, 5/16 PC and BBB have a working loads of 1950 lbs.

5/16HT has a pitch of 26.0mm
5/16PC has no specific pitch but is typically longer than either HT or BBB
5/16BBB has a pitch of 25.1mm

You will want to check and make sure your gypsy will accept HT.

If you're replacing your chain going with HT may be the way to go as the cost differance is not that much.

I'm just installing 165' of 5/16HT on my 28, if you are interested in my current 30' of 5/16HT let me know. $75.00 seems like a fair price. Its been used but is still in excellent shape. BUT, unless you live in the Puget Sound area it may cost more to ship it than would cost to just buy chain from your local source.
